The Scotland Yes Vote and Why I Care

Today Scotland will vote on whether to separate from the United Kingdom. There have been heated debates, some serious scaremongering and lots of questions raised about the impacts that a Yes vote would have on the UK, Europe and the rest I the world. Lately, after seeing my comments on various forms of social edit, I’ve had a lot of people ask me why I’ve taken an interest in the Scotland Independence Referendum. The 4Ever Scottish design was instantly one of my favorites. The script font is crisp and easily read, but also attractively modern. If you look at the angle of the “4” in 4Ever, it looks like the Saltire! How cool is it to have the Scottish Flag worked into the script?! Love it. The full text says “I’m 4Ever Scottish- Proud to the Core”, and this simple yet, bold statement embodies how those of us with Scottish ancestry scattered all over the world feel… We may not have been born in Scotland is certainly part of us.
